2018 Forest River Rockwood Signature Ultra Lite 8311WS
$26,900
What truck do I need?
3/4-ton truck recommended
Start with a properly equipped F-250 or 2500; a 1-ton may be needed for your loaded combination.
- Maximum loaded RV weight (GVWR)
- 9,910 lb
- 9,910 lb (4,495 kg) — certification label; confirm loaded scale weights before towing
- Tow rating to plan for at full GVWR
- At least 9,910 lb
- Conventional / bumper pull
Allow for 991 lb–1,487 lb of tongue load at full GVWR. Planning estimate only (10–15%), not a measured weight. Add passengers, hitch hardware and truck cargo when checking payload.
Check your exact vehicle before towing
Unloaded reference: 3,802 kg (approximately 8,382 lb) — factory cargo label, not a loaded weight. Loaded weight will be higher.
Truck classes are shopping recommendations, not manufacturer minimums or towing approval. Check the exact year, engine, axle ratio, cab, drivetrain and towing package. Loaded truck and trailer weights must stay within towing, payload, GVWR, GCWR, axle, tire and hitch limits. Use scale weights to confirm the combination.
Exact-unit labels take precedence over model references. Never use dry weight alone to choose a tow vehicle.
